Casa De La Fuente, an Austin builder, hosted An Evening of Art in their newly built home, a work of
art in itself, in the beautiful neighborhood of Costa Bella on Lake Travis. This private, cultivating
event with performances by acclaimed performing artists, student performers and a live auction of
selected art, a Steinway piano and more was to introduce ASPVA to the community and to raise
funds for scholarships for students in need of financial assistance. Numerous vendors and artists
donated their services to support this event.
A live expression on canvas was
created by Cuban American artist
Rolando Diaz along with student
classical guitarist Austin Bella Corda.
Fleming and Fong, Music for All Occasions, impressed
the guests with their musical talents.
Students captured the hearts of many with their poignant performances. Acts included the
Grande Waltz choreographed by Grace Holmes with The American Repertory Ensemble,
award winning dances, and songs from Broadway musicals to name a few.
