Collaborations

ASPVA is proud to team up with the following institutions and organizations to put on our yearly events and programs:

Ballet Austin

Ballet Austin welcomes audiences near and far to participate in its “classically innovative” vision for the democratization of dance. Established in 1956, the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization has a rich history, featuring original, acclaimed productions and a commitment to creating access to programs. Ballet Austin owns and operates a combined training facility located in the heart of downtown Austin and is among the 15 largest classical ballet companies in the country.  The Ballet Austin Academy is the official ballet school of Ballet Austin serving more than 900 students each year.

Austin Shakespeare

Austin Shakespeare has offered several roles to qualifying ASPVA drama students for Young Shakespeare productions. Selected students who meet audition requirements will have the unique opportunity to participate in 8 performances of a Shakespearean play inside The Curtain Theatre, a replica similar to Shakespeare’s famous “Globe Theatre.”

GIRLS SCOUTS OF CENTRAL TEXAS

Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs such as ASPVA, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges.  21,000 girls in the Central Texas region can participate in ASPVA activities to earn their creative badge– a very proud moment for ASPVA’s founder as she was a Girl Scout herself!

kidsActing

Founded in 1980, kidsActing is an Austin-based theatre and acting school that empowers students through production and performance. They provide a supportive, fun environment where young people can be inspired, creative, expressive, and shine! ASPVA shares many students with kidsActing and we are excited to collaborate with this all-star institution.

BEE CAVE ART FOUNDATION

Bee Cave Arts Foundation was formed in 2010. The Foundation is a 501C3 non-profit organization with a mission to improve the quality of life in the community and to enhance the experience of visitors by bringing awareness, education and integration of a wide range of art throughout public spaces.
